Most WNC homes do fine with 5″ K-style. But Asheville gets 47+ inches of rain a year, and homes with steep rooflines or long runs often need 6″ gutters with oversized 3×4 downspouts to handle peak flow. For very large or commercial roofs we’ll spec 7″ box gutters. Devon measures and recommends the right size during the estimate. we size to the building, not the cheapest bid.

K-style is the standard for most homes: strongest capacity per dollar, most color options. Half-round is the classic look for craftsman and historic homes (often copper). European box has clean modern lines and the highest capacity per linear foot, common on architect-designed WNC mountain homes. All three are custom-fabricated in your driveway from a continuous roll of aluminum, so there are no joints except at the corners.

Our crew. Devon (our Field Manager, who came up from the install crew) measures and quotes the job, oversees every install, keeps the crews stocked, and follows up to make sure you’re happy. Shannon coordinates schedules. The installers are Express Gutters employees, not subcontractors.

Most residential installs go on the schedule within 1–2 weeks of estimate approval. Repairs are often same-week. Storm damage we’ll triage faster.

Yes. micro-mesh and screen guards. They keep oak leaves, pine needles, and seed pods out of the gutter so you stop climbing a ladder twice a year. We can install guards over your existing gutters or include them with a new install. Pricing typically runs about a third of what LeafFilter charges for a comparable system.

Every new install comes with a 1-year craftsmanship warranty: brackets, joints at corners, downspout connections, and gutter pitch. If a covered issue shows up, we come back and fix it at no charge. Materials (the aluminum itself) carry the manufacturer’s warranty separately. Repairs are covered for 90 days.
